Buckle Up for Life is a national child passenger safety education program, created by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Toyota to empower all families to buckle up and go safely. Our goal is to make every car ride safe for every child by educating caregivers around the country about safe travels - one family, one car seat, one lesson at a time.
Who are we?
We're a national team of certified child passenger safety experts that includes Toyota safety engineers, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center trauma surgeons, child passenger safety technicians and researchers.
By partnering with local organizations around the country, we educate parents one-on-one around the country, and we make information accessible to everyone online.

We've proven that more knowledge means more safety. In a single city, we’ve tripled the number of children buckled up in families who participated in our programs. We will continue to expand our reach with the help of our partners. Here is some of the success they are having.

Child Passenger Safety Week
Safety for kids in cars is such an important issue, it has its own week. Each fall, we give it our all pushing awareness and education around the country. If Child Passenger Safety Week saves just one life, it’s totally worth it.
